Mysore/Mysuru: To provide potable drinking water to the residents, MLA S.A. Ramdas performed guddali puja for the installation of a RO Drinking Water Unit near Banumaiah Circle in MCC Ward No. 51 yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramdas said that the RO Unit would be installed at a cost of Rs. 12 lakh under the 14th Finance Scheme to provide pure drinking water to the residents of Ramavilas Road, Kshetraiah Road, Togari Beedhi, Banumaiah Road, Kempananjamma Agrahara, Devamba Agrahara and Cheluvamba Agrahara. 20 litres of pure water would be provided at a cost of Rs. 5 and added that a separate borewell would be sunk for the purpose.

Manjunath, Vani Vilas Water Works Executive Engineer Nagaraja Murthy, Assistant Executive Engineer Vinay Kumar, Ward 15 Engineers Kruthika and Madhu, BJP Mandal Vice-President Hemanth Kumar, Yuva Morcha President Mallikarjun, Ward President Gururaj Shenoy, T.S. Aruna, Venkatesh, Lakshmi, Narayana, Ashok and others were present.
