Ponnampet: Two days ahead of the inauguration, Congress MLC Veena Achaiah on Friday visited Ponnampet Tahsildar Office, the venue of tomorrow’s inauguration event.
The MLC discussed issues concerning functioning of the new taluk office with Tahsildar Kusuma and other officials. She also asked them to work efficiently and appropriately towards making the new taluk a model one in the State.
Block Congress President Meederira Naveen, Secretary Balakrishna, senior party leaders P.K. Ponnappa, M.S. Kushalappa, Theethira Dharmaja and others were present.
