Mysuru: As part of Suttur Mutt monthly moonlight music programme, Vid. Tirumale Srinivas will present a vocal concert at Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill in city at 6 pm on Sept.25.
Born in a family of musicians, Vid. Srinivas has served as an Akashavani artiste at Bengaluru for over two decades.
Currently serving as the head of Bengaluru’s Samanvaya Kala Kendra, he has over 250 albums to his credit.
He will be accompanied by Vid. M. Keshava on violin, Vid. Anoor Anantha Krishna Sharma on mridanga and Vid. Tirumale Gopi Shravan on morching.
Vidwan M. Keshava, a native of Mysuru, learnt his first lessons in music from his mother Anuradha Mohan. Vid. Anoor Anantha Krishna Sharma is a renowned mridanga maestro and is currently serving as a senior artiste at Bengaluru Akashavani.
Vid. Tirumale Gopi Shravan is a disciple of Vid. A.V. Anand. He has been hosting ‘Layalahari’ musical programmes at Bengaluru’s Ayyanar College of Music for over three decades.
