Mysuru: A vocal recital by Vid. N.R. Prashanth has been organised in the premises of Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill in city tomorrow (May 10) at 6 pm as part of its monthly Moonlight programme.
He will be accompanied by C.N. Thyagarajan on violin and A. Radhesh on mridanga. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.
Artiste’s profile: Born to S.K. Ramaprasanna couple, Vid. Prashanth got his basic music education from Mysore Palace Scholar Vid. Thitte Krishnaswamy Iyengar before joining Vid. R. Visweswaran.
A BE graduate from University of Mysore, Prashanth is a ‘B-High’ Akashavani artiste. He has taken part in many national and international events and has worked as the Registrar of Singapore-Indian Fine Arts Society.
