Mysore/Mysuru: More than 25,000 people will be taking part in the ‘Raj Bhavan Chalo,’ in protest against the Governor’s permission to prosecute Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in Bengaluru tomorrow (Aug. 27), said Karnataka Pradesh Kuruba Sanga Immediate Past State President B. Subramanya, here yesterday.
Speaking at the preliminary meeting at Kanaka Bhavan in Siddarthanagar, Mysuru, yesterday, he said that the protest has been jointly organised by Karnataka Shoshita Samudayagala Maha Okkuta and other Dalit, Backward Community, Adivasi, Minority and Alemari Associations. The members will arrive in Bengaluru from various parts of the State and assemble at the Freedom Park before marching towards Raj Bhavan.
Mandya Kuruba Sangha President Suresh, Kannada Book Authority Chairman Manasa, Nagabhushan, Chikkanna, Ananth and others were present.
