Mother, daughter among three persons missing from Nanjangud

Nanjangud: In separate incidents, a mother and her daughter are among three persons, who have gone missing from the town.

In the first incident a mother and her daughter have gone missing from their house in Bokkahalli village in the taluk from Aug.19.

The missing persons have been identified as 45-year-old Shivamma and her daughter 19-year-old Ranjitha.

According to the complaint lodged by Shivamma’s husband Kemparaju, he had left the house on Aug.19 at about 9.30 am for work and returned home at about 8.30 pm only to find his wife and daughter missing. He has further stated that despite searching for them he was unable to find them.

In the second case, 19-year-old Suvarna, daughter of Gopal and a resident of Devirammanahalli Palya in the taluk has gone missing since Aug.15.

According to the complaint lodged by her mother Kamala, Suvarna was given in marriage to one Mahadeva, a resident of Giriyabhovi Palya in Mysuru, about a month back and on July 12, Gopal had brought Suvarna to the house as it was Shunya Amavasye. Complainant has further stated that Suvarna on Aug.14 had her dinner and slept in her room, but when she woke up the next day, she saw Suvarna missing and lodged a complaint.

Suvarna is 5 ft. tall, oily red complexioned, round faced, has green colour tattoo of peacock feather on her right hand.
