Cleanliness drive by BJP in Ward 6
BJP Yuva Morcha of K.R. Constituency had organised a cleanliness drive at Medarageri in Ward 6 this morning. After cleaning the area, saplings were planted to improve the greenery.
Participating in the programme, MP Pratap Simha distributed free LPG connections to 12 houses and scholarship to 8 deserving students, both funded by Ambedkar and Vajpayee Yojan. He also presented a tricycle to one Mahadev, a resident of the area who had lost his legs due to gangrene, from MP’s fund. Former Minister S.A. Ramdas, Corporators M.V. Ramprasad, B.V. Manjunath, BJP leaders Gokul Govardhan, H.S. Jayashankar and others were present.
