Mysuru: MP Pratap Simha has lauded the progress of the Telugu Samskritika Samithi (TSS) in the past four-and-a-half years in Mysuru and the special bond enjoyed by the Telugus and the Kannadigas.
He was speaking at the 52nd Annual General Body Meeting of the Samithi held at a private hotel recently and said that the glorious journey of the Samithi for more than 50 years in the city is indeed noteworthy.
Earlier, Dr. L. Jaganmohan Rao, Building Committee Convenor, shared the progress of construction of “Telugu Velugu” building near Ramakrishnanagar Circle.
The newly-elected President P. Krishna Reddy promised that the building of Telugu Samithi would be completed by Sankranti next year. Vice-President P. Jayaram and Secretary D.V.S.N. Srinivasa Rao unveiled their future plans for TSS, Mysuru.
State BJP Secretary M. Rajendra felicitated Pratap Simha on behalf of Telugu Samithi. Nearly 200 members attended the meeting.
