Bengaluru: Deeply disappointed over B.S. Yeddyurappa’s (BSY) resignation as the Chief Minister after failing to prove majority in the floor of the Assembly yesterday, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha uploaded his emotional feelings on social media. Coming out with his feelings, a teary-eyed Simha said that he was very much moved by BSY’s resignation.
Pointing out that he (Simha) had shed tears when Atal Bihari Vajpayee had to tender his resignation as the PM in 1996, he said that history has repeated itself after 22 years now, with Yeddyurappa having to quit as the CM under the same circumstances.
Claiming that he has seen Yeddyurappa for years, Simha said that Yeddurappa was a man who always thought about the welfare of people just like PM Narendra Modi. Although Yeddyurappa was not disappointed for having to quit, he had regrets for everything that happened in the last moments, that blocked his way to power.
Also, he (Simha) saw Yeddyurappa’s trauma when he had to quit as the CM when he (BSY) had all the plans for welfare of the people, Simha said.
But a few minutes later, Simha removed his live video from Facebook page, it is learnt.
