Mysuru: The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) at its Board meeting held yesterday, has decided to auction 238 unallotted house belonging to it.
Speaking to press persons after the meeting, MUDA Commissioner P.S. Kantharaj said these unallotted houses, in HIG, MIG and LIG categories, are located in different localities and had become dilapidated due to poor maintenance. The MUDA will auction the houses and distribute them among the public, he said.
Applications for CA sites: Pointing out that MUDA has decided to call applications for distribution of 86 CA (Civic Amenities) sites located in Vijayanagar 4th stage, Belawadi, Dattagalli, Hebbal, Lalithadrinagar, Vasanthnagar, J.P. Nagar and Devanur, Kantharaj said that the sites will be allotted to deserving associations, organisations and trusts.
Stating that the MUDA’s affordable Group Housing Scheme will be taken up shortly, he said the meeting also approved the MUDA budget and other new projects that are to be taken up. He further said that MUDA will send a revised DPR on affordable Group Housing Scheme to the Government for approval.
MUDA Chairman D. Dhruva Kumar presided. MLAs M.K. Somashekar, Vasu, G.T. Devegowda and Kalale Keshavamurthy, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Marithibbegowda, MLCs K.T. Srikantegowda, R Dharmasena and Narayanaswamy and others were present.
