Sir,
The MUDA has approved the current year’s budget for so many new projects to come up including formation of several new layouts which is a good sign for development of Mysuru city.
At the same time, I would appeal to MUDA, while framing the budget and execution accordingly, to review the pending projects at the existing layouts also and provide sufficient funds for completion of the works for the welfare of the residents. For example: i) The works relating to Raja Kaluve upgradation to prevent rain water from entering into houses in Block Nos. 26 to 31 in SBM Colony, Srirampura; ii) The regularisation of SBM Park by acquiring remaining land presently occupied by the land losers (who have put up shops and letting them for rent) by payment of suitable compensation by calling them for discussion etc.
These efforts would pave way for more beautification of the layout. As the layout has already been handed over to MCC two years ago, it would be better for MUDA to complete the pending works without any further delay.
