MUDA Commissioner appeals public to avoid making visits to office

Mysore/Mysuru: With the second wave of  COVID-19 pandemic witnessing a sudden surge in the past few days, MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh has appealed the public to avoid making unnecessary visits to the office.

Pointing out that the number of people visiting MUDA Office has been on a steady rise over the past couple of weeks, with a good number of senior citizens standing in long queues for remittance of Tax (2021-22) without any interest, the Commissioner said that the interest-free remittance of tax can be made till Mar. 31, 2022. Also, online payment of tax will be introduced shortly for the benefit of public. With  a lot of time still left for payment of tax, the citizens, especially the elderly, should avoid visiting MUDA Office for their own safety and health, he said and added that citizens have also been advised to refrain from crowding at the Office as a  public safety  precautionary  measure.

Public can meet the MUDA Chairman or MUDA Commissioner only if their issues are not addressed at the respective sections.
