Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep, who presided over a meeting with MCC and MUDA officials this morning, decided to hand over 38 out of 44 layouts to MCC by this weekend.
The DC instructed the MUDA officials to hand over 38 layouts located within the Ring Road limits and asked MCC to collect all taxes from the residents.
Earlier, the MCC had rejected the proposal citing lack of basic amenities such as streetlights, road, water and others in some of the layouts. MCC had also asked MUDA to provide a CA site in these layouts for waste segregation.
MUDA Commissioner Dr. M. Mahesh, MCC Superintending Suresh Babu, MUDA Superintending Engineer Shivakumar and others were present.
