MUDA seeks NRN’s help to develop Millennium Circle

Mysuru: MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar has sought the assistance of Infosys Co-founder N.R. Narayana Murthy (NRN) to develop the Millennium Circle in Bannimanatap here and also to install a statue of Kempananjammanni there.

Dhruvakumar met Narayana Murthy at a function held at NIE here yesterday and placed his plea.

He disclosed the press that Infosys has been approached to also help in developing the park in Dattagalli 3rd Stage in front of Kautilya Vidyalala. He added that assistance has been sought for installing statues at prominent circles in city at a cost of Rs. 10 crore.

It may be recalled that Infosys Foundation has funded Rs. 30 crore for restoration work at Hebbal Lake. Narayana Murthy, after receiving the appeal from Dhruvakumar, is said to have assured to do the needful.
