MUDA warns against illegal occupation of vacant houses

Mysore/Mysuru: As MUDA continues to receive complaints  on unauthorised occupation of  vacant or unallotted MUDA or the then CITB allotted houses, the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has warned against illegal occupation of houses.

In a press release, MUDA has cautioned that  illegal occupants will be evicted and legal action initiated against the occupants who are found to be living in MUDA or CITB houses, which have remained either vacant or unallotted as per its records.

The MUDA has launched a drive to discover any illegal occupants by visiting all its vacant or unallotted houses. During the inspection, the occupants of such houses are required to co-operate with MUDA staff by producing documents of houses for verification and scrutiny. Legal action will be initiated against those who do not present documents and not co-operate with MUDA staff during inspection, the release said.
