Mukhtar Ahmed (56), Congress leader and resident of Ashoka Road West Cross, passed away last night at his residence.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of friends and relatives.
Namaz e Janaza was offered today, after Namaz e zohar at 1.30 pm at Masjid e Azam, Ashoka Road. This was followed by burial at old Khabarasthan, behind Central Jail on Pulikeshi Road Cross.
