Mysuru: Maharaja’s High School and PU College Alumni Association along with Oriental Research Institute, University of Mysore and Ursu Maha Mandali will celebrate Mummadi Krishnaraj Wadiyar’s Jayanti tomorrow at Nalwadi Krishnaraj Wadiyar Auditorium of the Institution on JLB Road.
MLA L.Nagendra will inaugurate by garlanding the bust of Mummadi in front of the Institution at 10 am tomorrow. This follows a stage programme. Dr. S. Shivarajappa, Director of ORI, will be the chief guest. B.S. Sridhara Raj Urs, President of Alumni Association and Ursu Mandali Sangha, will preside. Meritorious students of Maharaja’s High School will be felicitated with cash prizes. Senior old students B.R. Srihari, Correspondent, Star of Mysore and S.V. Gowdappa, President, Elder Citizens Council, Jayalakshmipuram, will be honoured.
Siddaraju, Principal, Mahesh, Vice-Principal and Y.M.Kiran, Secretary, Ursu Maha Mandali will be the guests of honour.
