He was absconding after killing lorry driver in Mysuru
Mysuru: Metagalli Police, on Dec.10, have arrested a person in Tamil Nadu (TN) who had killed a lorry driver and had gone absconding.
The arrested person has been identified as 35-year-old M. Mahendran, a native of Jodi Nayakanoor Town, Theni district in Tamil Nadu from where he was arrested.
It may be recalled that Mahendran on Oct.10 had asked for money from one Mohan, who is also a lorry driver. But Mohan, not only refused to give money but also abused Mahendran’s family using foul language.
Mahendran, who was drunk, picked up a knife and stabbed Mohan to death near the lorry stand compound of J.K. Tyres in Metagalli Industrial Area here and had fled. A case was registered at Metagalli Police Station on Oct.11 in this regard.
Metagalli Police, who took up the investigation, traced Mahendran at Theni in Tamil Nadu and arrested him on Dec.10.

Maju in the nabbing operation.
