Murder accused held in Kerala

Mysore/Mysuru: N.R. Police have arrested the prime accused in the murder of an youth at his house in JNNURM ‘A’ block housing complex  behind Kuri Mandi in city two months ago.

The accused has been identified as Vinay alias Parota, 27, a resident of Kuri Mandi. He was produced before a Court which has remanded him to judicial custody. He was allegedly involved in the murder of Ravi, a resident of the same area.

Details: Vinay and Ravi alias Bajja of Kuri Mandi had old enmity over financial matter. On Dec 13, Ravi came to Vinay’s house and quarrelled with him. Since then Vinay’s house owner was pressurising him to vacate the house. Annoyed over this, Vinay along with Nikhil alias Maada and Appu went to Ravi’s house the next day and strangulated him with a towel. Subsequently, the Police had arrested Nikhil and Appu, but Vinay had escaped.

The Police finally nabbed him at Kollam in Kerala. The Police team headed by Inspector Azaruddin arrested the  murder accused.
