Mysuru: Following the murder of Sunitha, a divorcee residing in JP Nagar on Tuesday, a Police team led by Vidyaranyapuram Inspector Omkarappa has been formed to nab the victim’s former husband, who is suspected to have murdered her.
KR Sub-Division ACP Dharmappa, who spoke to Star of Mysore, said that the investigating team has begun its investigation and has launched a hunt to nab the victim’s former husband Karthik, who is suspected to have killed her.
He said that Karthik, on Tuesday morning, had come to the victim’s house and both of them had dropped their son and returned to the victim’s house after which the murder has taken place giving rise to suspicion that Karthik had murdered his former wife Sunitha.
Dharmappa said that even the suspect’s phone is found switched off since 9 am on Tuesday and hence unable to trace his location and added that they would use the latest technology to nab him at the earliest.
He said that they have now come to know that cases have been registered against Karthik in Chikmagalur and Shivamogga which are being examined by the investigating team and added that even the parents and relatives were pointing their fingers on Karthik.
Dharmappa said that the real fact would be known only after nabbing Karthik.
