Shruthimanjari Foundation, Mysuru, has organised Veena Vidushi M.S. Jayamma Memorial Karnatak Music Competition, to mark its Silver Jubliee Celebrations, on Sept. 15 at 9 am in Rotary West School. Seetharam, Secretary of the Foundation, the competition will be held for Junior and Senior grades. “It will be held in five categories — Vocal, Devaranama, Instrumental, Talavaadya and Written Music quiz,” the press note adds.
