Music Concert at Jayanagar Rama Mandira tomorrow

Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, Mysuru, has organised a Karnatak Classical Vocal Concert by Vidu. Madhuri Kaushik, Bengaluru, at 6.30 pm tomorrow (Apr. 7) at Jayanagar Rama Mandira in city, in connection with the Ramanavami Music Festival organised by the Mandira.

Vidu. Madhuri will be accompanied by Vidu. C.V. Shruthi on violin and Vid. Sai Shiv Lakshmi Keshav & Skandan Bharadwaj on mridanga.

Artistes Profile: Vidu. Madhuri Kaushik is one of the promising young musical talents of Karnataka. She began her initial music lessons from Vidu. Rohini Manjunath and trained under her for more than 13 years and also from Vidu. Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar for more than 7 years. Currently, she is being trained by gurus Vidushis Ranjani and Gayatri, Chennai.

A graded artiste of AIR and recipient of the CCRT and scholarship by Government of India, Madhuri has rendered concerts and won prizes in several esteemed Sabhas all over South India and USA, including  HCL Series, Spirit of Youth – 2019, The Music Academy, Madras, Parampara Series, Chennai, Asthika Samajam, Chennai, Gayana Samaja, Bengaluru, Malleswaram Sangeetha Sabha, Sri Rama Seva Mandali, Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, Mysuru & Arkay Convention Centre, Chennai. Madhuri has also been awarded the ‘Promising Talent of the Year-2019’ by Sri Kartikeya Gana Sabha, Hyderabad.
