Mysuru: As part of the 98th birth anniversary celebration of Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, Sri Krishna Ganasabha, in association with Brahma Vidya, has organised ‘Sangeetha Roopaka (Music Feature) and Bharatanatyam’ at Alwar Kalabhavan in Sri Krishna Temple premises, Gokulam 3rd Stage here on July 18 at 6 pm.
Sri Varchasvi Siddalinga Raj Urs, Mathadipati, Malavalli and Kappadi Mutt, will grace the occasion. Sanskrit Scholar Prof. Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao and Sangeetha Vidwan Dr. R.S. Nandakumar of Mysuru will be the chief guests. Sri Krishna Ganasabha President B.S. Sridhara Raj Urs will preside.
Music feature ‘Rajayogindra,’ directed by Vid. Dr. R.S. Nandakumar, will be presented — Vocal: Vidu. Kanchana S. Sriranjani, Vidu. Kanchana S. Shruti Ranjani, Vaishnavi Datta, Harsha, Yadunandan, Koustubh, Nagaraja Sharma and Nagachetan; Veena: Vid. T.V. Narasimhan; Violin: Vid. Tandava Murthy and mridanga: Vid M.R. Manjunath.
Bharatanatyam ‘Raja Natya,’ directed by Natya Vidu. Dr. Radhika Nandakumar, in association with Vidu. Nayana Shastri, America, will follow.
