Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru, has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with 10 organisations at a programme held recently under the leadership of Music University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote.
The MoUs intend to impart education in music and various other forms of performing arts.
The Music University has entered into an MoU with Sri Vijaya Kalaniketana at Shivamogga, Vistara Rangashale at Koppla, Nrityavarnakala Sourabha Trust in Mysuru, Sri Medha College of Performing Arts, Ability Unlimited Trust at Bengaluru, Rudra Academy at Bengaluru, Shambhavi School Dance, Bengaluru Natyantara Trust in Bengaluru, Audio Live and School of Engineering in Bengaluru.
Prior to this, the University had tied up with 39 other organisations and with the present 10, it has now signed up with a total of 49 organisations to open its centres and has taken an important step towards imparting education in Music and Performing Arts, says a press release from the Varsity Registrar.
