Mysore/Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru and Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth (SPICMACAY) are jointly organising a Hindustani Musical Concert by renowned flautist Dr. Pandit Praveen Godkhindi and team on Nov. 9 at 10.30 am at M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, KRS Road, Mysuru.
SPICMACAY, a nationwide voluntary movement, intends to enrich the quality of formal education by increasing awareness about different aspects of Indian heritage and inspiring the young minds to imbibe the values embedded in it.
GSSSIETW has been playing a vital role in encouraging students in the field of culture and arts and is supporting SPICMACAY.
Pandit Praveen Godkhindi, a top ranking artiste in Hindustani bansuri, has mastered in both Tantrakari and Gayaki style of playing on flute. He will be accompanied by an established tabla artiste Kiran Godkhindi.
Youth audience from various Colleges may attend this concert with valid college ID cards.
