Mysore/Mysuru: To help poor and sick artistes, Dr. Rajkumar Kala Seva Trust has organised Hamsageethe, a musical evening of songs composed by Sandalwood Music Director Hamsalekha on Nov. 12 at Kalamandira in city from 5 pm.
Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Trust President B.S. Jayaramaraju said that the programme will be inaugurated by litterateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar. MLC A.H. Vishwanath, former MLA S. Balaraj, former MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, Cardiologist Dr. Santosh and Kannada and Culture Department Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudarshan will be present as chief guests.
Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji of Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple, will grace the occasion. Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside.
As the programme is being held to help the artistes, an entry fee is fixed and tickets can be purchased between 10 am and 5 pm on Nov. 12, he said.
Singer R. Sudheendra, Suresh, Nandakumar, Mahadevaprasad, Suchindra and others were present at the press meet.
