Mysore/Mysuru: Padma Shri and Sangeeta Kalacharya awardee Vid. R.N. Tyagarajan (RNT), senior of the famed Rudrapatnam Brothers, presented “Vasudeva Namana”, a musical tribute to Sangeeta Kalanidhi Mysore K. Vasudevacharya, at the heritage house of the well-known composer in city on Sunday (Oct. 3).
Vid. RNT’s students Dr. R.N. Srilatha, Vivek Sadasivam, Sriram Sastry, Ramya Praveen, Nagachethan and Shruti Shastri also performed on the occasion. Mathur Srinidhi on violin and Vid. Phanindra Bhaskar on mridanga, supported the vocalists.
With this programme, cultural activities at the renovated heritage building are being resumed after a small gap due to the pandemic.
