Mysuru: Founder of Dr. Rajkumar Kala Seva Trust, Mysuru Jayaram has said that the Trust has orgnaised a musical nite ‘Kanteredu Nodu’ on Nov.14 at 5.30 pm at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha auditorium on JLB road in the city. This was announced by Jayaram at a press conference held at Patrakartara Bhavan in the city, yesterday.
“We have seen many visually impaired persons singing by roadside and at various circles appealing for financial help. Our Trust has now decided to provide a platform for them to display their singing prowess by organisng a musical nite titled ‘Kanteredu Nodu’. Visually impaired singers Gautham, Veeresh, Daaldurappa, Ramesh, Lingaraju and others will sing old Kannada film songs and light music songs. Singers from Dr. Rajkumar Kala Seva Trust will sing along with them,” said Mysuru Jayaram.
Continuing, he said poet Jayappa Honnali , former corporator Pramila Bharat, art patron Srinivas Murthy and Dr. Appaji will participate in the musical nite as chief guests.
Singers Suresh, Sridhar and Deepa were present.
