Mysuru: MyBuild-18, an exhibition of construction materials, equipment and state-of-the-art technologies and the latest in Real Estate, organised by Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysuru Centre, was inaugurated by Chartered Housing Private Limited Managing Director Balakrishna Hegde at Maharaja’s College Grounds here last evening.
Speaking after inaugurating the exhibition, he said that for an association to be successful, the ladies and the youth wing should also be active and if the women’s wing works hard then the success is inevitable.
BAI, Mysuru Centre, is introducing new building technologies to Mysureans and in this exhibition, under one roof, all these are available and it is also an opportunity for those who want to construct new homes, he said.
“The engineers and developers are striving hard to come up with architecturally designed homes, bridges and enhancing the beauty of the city. This also had helped the economic development of the city,” he said.
The expo also gives information on different layouts in city and rainwater harvesting. The exhibition is open from 10 am to 9 pm till Dec.10. The entry fee is Rs.20. There are 161 stalls which display all kinds of building products, said an organiser of the show speaking to Star of Mysore.
