Over 25,000 people visited the expo till yesterday
Mysuru: The 24th Edition of MYBUILD-24, an exhibition of construction materials, interiors and lifestyles, organised by the Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, at Maharaja’s College Grounds in city will conclude with a valedictory function at 4 pm today. The expo has received good response with over 25,000 people visiting the expo till yesterday.
The five-day expo was jointly inaugurated by Dr. Sri Karivrushabha Deshikendra Shivayogeshwara Mahaswamiji of Somekatte Sri Kadasiddeshwara Mutt, Nonavinakere, Viraktha Mutt, Turuvekere and University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. N.K. Lokanath on Dec. 12.
The expo having 156 stalls features many National and international companies displaying their innovative products such as building materials, pavements, generators, plumbing systems, bath room fittings, kitchen cabinets, interiors, floor tiles, roofing materials, prefab buildings, construction chemicals, construction equipment, aluminium windows, PVC and moulded doors, building safety measures, elevators, lights & lighting products, pre engineered buildings, landscaping resources and rain water harvesting systems among others. The proceeds from the expo will be spent on training programmes and welfare of construction workers through Mysore Builders Charitable Trust.
The expo will be open till 9 pm today and the entry fee is Rs. 30.
