Mysore/Mysuru: MYCAS College hosted the 7th edition of their annual festival, MYCAnvas ’24, on May 3 and 4 at its campus in Metagalli.
Hundreds of students from across the city converged to participate in a myriad of competitions. The festival kicked off with a series of student and learning-driven management studies competitions, including aptitude tests, case study analyses, presentations and elevator pitches. The highlight was an event inspired by the popular TV show “Shark Tank,” where Swathi Bhagavath, Shivashankar, Rangaswamy Mookanahalli, Fouzan Raheel and Amir Sadan played the roles of Sharks.
Students from SDM-MMK Degree College clinched the top honours, securing a seed fund and a prestigious trophy for their innovative business plan.
On May 4 evening, the grand stage of MYCAnvas’24, set up in the college football ground, witnessed captivating solo singing, group dance competitions, and dazzling fashion shows by MYCAS students. The audience was treated to electrifying performances by musical bands MYRA from Mysuru and Boomerang from Bengaluru, followed by an exhilarating DJ party by DJ Nikz.
Sagar from Sarada Vilas College emerged victorious in the solo singing while the group dance competition was won by Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering team.
