Mysore/Mysuru: Even as corruption charges in connection with appointments to MyMUL (Mysuru Milk Union Limited) posts continues to rage, with some opposition legislators and leaders alleging a scam, the Karnataka High Court has ordered MyMUL to publish OMR answer scripts of candidates who appeared for the written recruitment exam, before Dec.4 on its (MyMUL) website.
Announcing this at a press meet at the office of K.R. Nagar JD(S) MLA S.R. Mahesh near Ramavilas road here recently, JD(S) leader M.T. Kumar said that a PIL was filed in the High Court alleging grave irregularities in the exam process for appointment to 187 MyMUL posts. The petitioners had brought to the notice of the Court that copies of OMR answer scripts were not made available.
The Court, which heard the petition, ordered publishing of the answer scripts before Dec.4, while dismissing MyMUL’s contention that the OMR answer scripts cannot be made public under the Co-operative Societies Act, he said.
Kumar further said the Court has also permitted filing of objections, if any, regarding the published scripts, by Dec.8. The Court is expected to give its final verdict on the appointments after Dec.17, he added.
