Mysuru: The “Peter Drucker Challenge” is an international essay contest for young managers, entrepreneurs and students organised by the Peter Drucker Society Europe (PDSE), Vienna, Austria.
It is a hugely successful annual event since 2009, held in Vienna where Peter Drucker was born and educated. This year it was held during Nov. 29 – 30 at the Imperial Palace (Hofburg).
The “Peter Drucker Challenge” is a unique essay contest to keep the human-oriented management philosophy of Peter Drucker alive in the minds of the young generation and is open to students and young professionals from around the world. The essay format is “a personal narrative essay that may be underpinned by research.”
Adarsh Ramesh, now pursuing his first year Post Graduate Diploma in Management at MYRA School of Business, Mysuru, had won the second prize in the Drucker Challenge Essay Award-
This year being the 10th year of the Forum, it is themed around the topic “How to stay Human in a Robot Society.” Adarsh had been invited again by the Peter Drucker Society, as one of the top performers at the Drucker Forum, to be a part of the Conference and to contribute to the discussion on how to steer the next generation of management challenges that technology pose.
