Mysore Diocesan Prison Ministry turns 25

The silver jubilee celebration of Mysore Diocesan Prison Ministry India (PMI) will be held at 10 am tomorrow (Aug. 27) at the Catholic Centre in Bannimantap. Bishop Emeritus of Mysore Diocese Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Antony Vazhapilly, Vicar General Monsignor Alfred John Mendonca, PMI Founding Father and National PMI Co-ordinator Rev. Fr. Dr. Francis Kodian, National PMI Secretary Rev. Sr. Amla, Co-ordinator of Mysore Diocesan Commissions Rev. Fr. Arul Selvakumar and Co-ordinator of Karnataka PMI and Commission Secretary of Prison Ministry-Mysore Diocese Dr. Michael Noronha will be the chief guests.

Archbishop Emeritus and Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Mysore Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Blasius Moras will preside. PMI is a National Voluntary Organisation to work for the release, renewal and rehabilitation of prisoners. The 25th anniversary celebrations will conclude with cultural events.
