The Mysore District Athletic Association will be conducting the athletic selection trials for boys and girls in various age groups 14, 16,18, 20 years, men and women on Aug. 26 from 9 am at Chamundivihar Stadium.
This meet will be the basis for selecting the Mysuru district athletic team which will represent the district in the Inter-District National Athletic Meet 2017, Karnataka Senior & Junior Championship 2017 and Karnataka Inter-District Athletic Championship 2017 to be held in September, November and December. The participants who secure first and second place with best timings/distance/height in all categories will be selected for the district athletic team.

100m, 200m, 400m, 1000m, 100m Hurdles, 3000m walk, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus.

100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, 110m Hurdles, 3000m Walk, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw.
U-20 years (Boys & girls)
100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw.
Men/Women
100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Discus throw.
