Mysore/Mysuru: The Installation Ceremony of Mysore Toastmasters was held at Learner’s PU College in city recently. The event symbolised a smooth transition of leadership and showcased Mysore Toastmasters’ dedication to empowering individuals with communication and leadership skills.
Toastmasters International, the parent organisation of Mysore Toastmasters, has transformed lives for over nine decades. It provides a supportive environment for individuals to develop communication and leadership skills. Members participate in activities like speeches, impromptu speaking, evaluations and leadership roles, fostering personal and professional growth. It helps gain confidence through feedback and mentorship and also cultivates a sense of belonging, facilitating networking and lasting friendships.
Mysore Toastmasters welcomes students, professionals and people from all backgrounds. In addition to Mysore Toastmasters, the other Toastmasters Clubs in city are Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering Toastmasters and The ICSI Royal Pro Toastmasters. Toastmasters also offers a ‘Gavel Club’ that is designed specifically for youngsters (10 – 15 years), providing them with an opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills at an early stage.
