Mysore Varsity Ph.D awardees

Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM)  has awarded Ph.D in Physics to T.N. Narayanaswamy for his thesis ‘Growth and characterisation of thin films of HVI compound semiconductors on glass substrates by chemical bath deposition’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. R. Ganesha.

L. Lokesh  has been awarded Ph.D in Psychology by the UoM for his thesis ‘Relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction among Police personnel: An intervention study.’ [Guide: Dr. Swati Patra].

M.S.Pankaja has been awarded Ph.D in City and Regional Project for her thesis ‘Building green city: A planning strategy for Mysore City.’ [Guide: Dr. H. N. Nagendra].

P. Sumana has been awarded Ph.D in Law for her thesis ‘Law of co-operative societies in India with special reference to Karnataka.’ [Guide: Dr. P. Ishwara Bhat].

N.K. Hemanth Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Botany for his thesis ‘Evaluation of Alachlor (Lasso) effect on early seedling, growth and yield of Maize (Zea mays L.) and Soybean (Glycine max L. Merrill).’ [Guide: Dr. Shobha Jagannath].

S. Geetha has been awarded Ph.D in Commerce for her thesis ‘Operational efficiency of commercial banks after the  introduction of core banking system — A study of a few selected public sector banks in Mysore city in Karnataka’. [Guide: Dr. C.S. Ramanarayanan].

M.A. Radhamani has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for her thesis ‘Vani matu Triveni avara Kadambarigalalli Vivaha Samstheya Shoda — Sthrivadi Vishleshane.’ [Guide: Dr. Priti Shrimandharkumar].

C. Jeyanthi has been awarded Ph.D in Mathematics for her thesis ‘A Study of fixed point theory, dynamic programming neural networks.’ [Guide: Dr. Giniswamy].

R. Latha has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for her thesis ‘K.R. Sandhyareddy avara Sahitya.’ [Guide: Dr.C.D. Parashuram’].

Shakuntala S.Patil has been awarded Ph.D in Hindi for her thesis ‘Sudha Arora ke katha sahitya me chetana ke vibhinna sandarbh’ [Guide: Dr. Pratibha Mudliar].

C.L. Shivakumar has been awarded Ph.D in History for his thesis ‘The non-Congress political movements in Mysore -1900-1960’ [Guide: Dr. Sebastian Joseph].

P.N. Hemalatha has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for her thesis ‘Kannada Mahila Natakagalali Samskrutika Punar Mouliyikarana’ [Guide: Dr. N.M. Talawar].

Lyola Thomas has been awarded Ph.D in English for her thesis ‘Psalms as Poetry: Quest for multiple meanings in the age of postmodernism’ [Guide: Dr. C. Naganna].

B.R. Hemantha has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for his thesis  ‘Madhyakalina Kannada Shashanagla Samskritika Adhyayana (AD 1336-1530)’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. T.K. Kempegowda.

K.P. Pratima has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada for her thesis ‘Kannada Mahila Kadambarigalli Mahila Sabalikaranada Nelegalu’ submitted under the guidance of                                                                               Dr. Priti Srimandarakumar].

C. Deepa has been awarded Ph.D in Food Science for her thesis ‘Infrared based thermal treatment of grains: Studies on physiochemical properties, shelf-life extension and engineering aspects’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. H. Umesh.
