Mysore Varsity Ph.D awardees

Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D  in Audiology to M.K. Ganapathy for his thesis ‘The Effect of age and noise on Acoustic Change Complex’ submitted under the guidance of  Dr. P. Manjula.

B.V. Deepthi has been awarded Ph.D in Microbiology by the UoM for her thesis ‘Studies on Mycotoxigenic Fusarium Proliferatum occurring on animal and poultry feeds’ [Guide: Dr. M.Y. Sreenivasa].

B.C. Swetha has been awarded Ph.D in Psychology by the UoM for her thesis ‘Internet addiction and its effects on select psychomotor functions among adolescents’ [Guide: Dr. C. Ramaswamy].

K.A. Sharvani has been awarded Ph.D in Botany by the UoM for her thesis ‘Revision and conservation of endemic species of Elaeocarpaceae of Karnataka State, India’ [Guide:  Dr. N.S. Devaki].

R. Puttaraju has been awarded Ph.D in Sociology by the UoM for his thesis ‘Tumakuru Nagaradanchina Shettihalli – Mallasandra gramagala ondu samajashastriya adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. R. Gopalaraju].

Pashupati has been awarded Ph.D in Physical Education by the UoM for his thesis ‘Emotional and social intelligence in  relation to performance: A comparative study of volleyball and basketball players’  [Guide: Dr. C. Venkatesh].

S.K. Kumara has been awarded Ph.D in Education for his thesis ‘Drushtisavallula proudashala vidyarthigala samajika hondanike, manasika arogya mattu shaikshanika sadane kuritu adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. Ningamma C. Betsur].

Nalini Chandar has been awarded Ph.D in English by the UoM for her thesis ‘The enigma within: A study of the Psychopaths in select fiction’ [Guide: Dr. K. Yeshoda Nanjappa].

Vidya L. Rao has been awarded Ph.D in Human Development by the UoM for her thesis ‘Awareness,  Attitude and practices among community health workers regarding early identification of developmental    delays in young children’ [Guide: Dr. M. Komala].

Manju has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by UoM for his thesis ‘Banjara Sahityada Adhyanaya’ [Guide: Dr. S.D. Shashikala].

Bharathiar University

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, has awarded Ph.D in Chemistry to S. Natarajan for his thesis ‘Method development and characterisation of impurities in drug substances’  [Guide: Dr. B.K. Kempegowda, Professor of Maharani’s Science College for Women, Mysuru].
