Mysuru: Poornima Jayakrishna and Dr. Kiranmayee Muralidhar from Public Health Research Institute of India (PHRII), a Mysuru-based NGO, have been invited to present their work at the upcoming Consortium of Universities for Global Health’s (CUGH) virtual conference at Los Angeles, USA, between March 28 and April 1, 2022.
Poornima Jayakrishna will be presenting two abstracts titled “Prevalence of Early Onset of Menopause Among Smokeless Tobacco Users in Tribal Women in Mysore, Karnataka, India” and “Assessing Women’s Preference for Self-sampling versus Physician Sampling HPV Testing Method for Cervical Cancer Screening in Mysore District, Karnataka, India.”
Dr. Kiranmayee Muralidhar will be presenting an abstract titled “COVID-19 Vaccine Uptake and Decision-Making among Women in Urban Slums in Mysore, Karnataka, India”.
PHRII is an NGO based in Mysuru working to improve the health of women and children through evidence based research and care. The CUGH 2022 conference is one of the premier events for Translation and Implementation Science for Impact in Global Health.
This conference attracts more than 1,700 delegates from over 50 countries.
