Mysuru & Bengaluru Dance Gurus and disciples to go on Nrutya Degula Yatra

Mysuru: Rashtra Jagruthi Abhiyana, an organisation based out of Bengaluru, is striving for national unity and awareness of our culture and history.

President of the organisation, Justice N. Kumar is currently spearheading various activities of the organisation including singing and dancing competitions of patriotic songs, Vachanas of Shiva sharanas, folk and light music and many more. Under this banner, Guru Dr. Nagalakshmi Nagarajan, Founder of Champaka Academy, Mysuru, is coordinating a Nrutya Degula Yatra to Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Bodhgaya and Varanasi on Oct. 21, comprising a broader team of acclaimed dance gurus and their disciples from Mysuru                            and Bengaluru.

The team from Champaka Academy consists of Shreya Kashyap, Aditi L. Narayanan, Shreya Vijay, Ananya Kemparaj, Spoorthi Manjunath, Swati Sheshadri, Adithi N. Bhat and N. Priya.

Guru Vidushi T.S. Sreelakshmi Kumar & disciples of Sri Uma Maheshwara Nruthya Kala Kshetra, Mysuru, along with disciples V.R. Maanya, Sanjana Shankar, Vennella and V. Anushri will also be giving Bharatanatyam performance while Guru Dr. Bharathi Vittal and disciples Swapna Takavade, Ashka Desai and Sushma Upadhyay from Kalpanaa School of Dance, Mysuru, will be giving Kathak performance.

Teams from Bengaluru include Guru Dr. Malini Ravishankar and disciples of Lasya Vardhana Trust, Guru Vidushi Rekha Jagdeesh and disciples of Sri Lalitha Kalanikethana and Guru Vidushi Manasa Kanti of Natya Sampada School of Dance.

The entire team will perform Nrutya Seva at the Lotus feet of Balak Ram at Ayodhya and at the eternal abode of Viswanatha at Kashi.
