M.U. Thejas with 6 points from seven rounds and K.G. Nesha with 4 points from seven rounds won the boys and girls U-15 titles respectively in the Mysuru District-level Chess Championship for U-15, U-13, U-11, U-9, U-7 (boys & girls), conducted by MDCA for the Saanvi Technologies Cup at the University Lions Hall premises here yesterday.
The prizes to the winners were given away by M. Sudarshan, President, MDCA. K.R. Shivarame Gowda, Hon. Secretary, MDCA, was the other guest present with Sujatha Prasad and Ravindra Joshi, Office-bearers, MDCA.
