Mysuru District Master Athletes fare well in National Masters Athletic Championship

The Mysuru District Master Athletes, taking part in the 38th National Masters Athletic Championship-2017 held at Balayogi Stadium, Hyderabad, Telangana, from Feb. 21 to 25,  fared well by securing 9 medals in different categories.

C.B. Chelluvegowda won two gold medals in Hammer-Throw and Shot-Put in the Men’s 70-plus category. Amarnath won one gold (110m Hurdles), 1 silver (4x100m Relay) and two bronze medals (100m & Long-Jump) in the Men’s 45 plus category. K.S. Seethamma won a  gold medal in the Women’s 70-plus Javelin-Throw event. R.P. Ravi won a silver medal in the Men’s 40-plus Long-Jump event, while B.S. Jayashree won a bronze medal in the Women’s 35-plus Hammer-Throw event.
