Mysuru District Moon Committee Meeting held

Ramzan Fasting from tomorrow

Mysuru: Mysuru District Moon Committee Meeting was held yesterday at 7.30 pm after Namaz-e-Maghrib at the Office of the Mysuru District Waqf Advisory Committee here.

Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazrath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff presided. Convenor of the District Moon Committee  Ariff A. Mehkri and other members collected information from Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and other parts of the State but nowhere moon was sighted. Hence, it was decided to begin the Holy Month of Ramadan (Ramzan) from Tuesday and fasting also begins from tomorrow.

On the occasion,  Ariff Mehkri, who is also the Chairman of Mysuru District Waqf Advisory Committee, felicitated the Sir Khazi.

Rahman, Muddassir Ali Khan, Afsar Ali, U. Asif Khan, Waqf Inspector, Chamarajanagar, Syed Roshan Munawer, retired Waqf Officer, Mohamed Yunus, Waqf Inspector, Mysuru, Kaleem Pasha, Secretary, Masjid-e-Khadriya, Mysuru  and others attended the Moon Committee meeting.
