Mysuru gets big ticket projects from Centre: Team Mysore

Mysore/Mysuru: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a visit to the city for taking part in the International Day of Yoga, the city’s Team Mysore said that Mysuru is getting big ticket projects of the Union Government, thanks to the initiative  of PM Modi and efforts of Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha.

In a press release, Yeshwant of Team Mysore said that MP Pratap Simha made relentless efforts for the execution of Rs. 500 crore Railway Station re-modelling project at Naganahalli on Mysuru-Bengaluru section of SWR.

Besides, a Centre of Excellence has come up at AIISH at a cost of Rs. 155.49 crore, a Container Depot is coming up at Kadakola, upgradation of Mysore Airport at a cost of Rs.1,820 crore, sanction for establishment of a Mega Semiconductor Park and many others are being taken up, he said.

Pointing out that the vision of PM Modi will help Mysuru find a distinguished place in the global map, he said that road and rail connectivity is vital for development of a city and the PM and the MP are working in this direction.

Observing that the PM’s vision and plans for the city is taking the city fast upwards in the chart of growth, with support from the MP, Ministers and officials, Yeshwant said that Team Mysore, on behalf of the citizens of Mysuru, thanks the PM, MP and all others who are working overtime to ensure that Mysuru earns worldwide attention and recognition.
