Mysuru: A. A. Bopanna from Mysuru is all set to patrol the Indian skies. He received his commission at a ceremony held recently at Hyderabad.
Son of Appaneravanda Appacha and Ruckma (great- grandson of Appaneravanda Appacha Kavi), residents of Vijayanagar here, Bopanna
finished his schooling at Manasarovar Pushkarini and Christ Public School, Mysuru.
After graduating from NIE, he appeared for the Air Force selection exams and was selected for aerial combat training. On successful completion of his training, Bopanna was awarded his commission of Flying Officer on 15.12.2018.
