Mysore/Mysuru: Rudra Nrityayogashala is all set to present the fourth edition of Mysuru Odissi Utsav-2025 on Nov. 23 at Jagannatha Centre for Art and Culture (JCAC), Vijayanagar, Mysuru, from 5.45 pm onwards.
The annual festival has become one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events, celebrating the timeless beauty of Odissi, one of India’s oldest classical dance forms.
The evening will be graced by distinguished guests — B.S. Sridhar Raj Urs, President, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Mysuru; Ghanashyam Pradhan, President, Puri Jagannath Cultural and Welfare Society, Mysuru; Dr. B.P. Murthy, Working President, Mysore Yoga Okkuta; K. Jyotirmayee Pattnaik, Odissi Dancer and Director, Ariadana Foundation, Bengaluru and Badari Divya Bhushan, Internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam Dancer from Mysuru.
Guest Artistes
This year’s main guest artistes include Santosh Ram and Samir Kumar Panigrahi, disciples of Guru Bichitrananda Swain of The Rudrakshya Foundation, Bhubaneswar. The festival’s special guest is Ustad Bismillah Khan Awardee Guru Debasish Pattnaik, an internationally acclaimed Odissi exponent from Bengaluru.
The event will feature performances by several national and international artistes, bringing together talent from across India to celebrate the grace, rhythm and spirit of Odissi.

About the Organiser
The festival is organised by Sindhu Kiran, Founder of Rudra Nrityayogashala, Mysuru. A renowned Odissi dancer from Gokulam, Mysuru, she is a disciple of the legendary Padma Vibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra, Prothima Gauri Bedi and Guru Ratikant Mahapatra.
As a performer, choreographer and teacher, Sindhu Kiran has showcased her art across India and abroad in prestigious dance festivals. She established Rudra with a vision to promote and teach Odissi in Mysuru. Through initiatives like Mysuru Odissi Utsav, she continues to nurture talent and bring global attention to the city’s rich cultural heritage.
