Mysuru Police Public School to get Rs. 12.53 crore for expansion

Bengaluru: The State Cabinet which met here on Wednesday, has approved release of Rs. 12.53 crore for construction of more blocks at Mysuru Police Public School on Mahadevapura road in Mysuru.

Speaking to press persons after the cabinet meeting yesterday, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister T.B. Jayachandra detailing the other Cabinet decisions, said that more number of beds will be added to District /Teaching hospitals at Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Gadag, Koppal etc. and Rs. 359.38 crore has been allotted for construction of more hostel blocks in new Government medical colleges.

Some other decisions taken included release of 20 percent of its equity share to the Ministry of Railways for the much delayed Bengaluru Sub-urban rail project. Doubling and electrification works on Yeshwantpur-Baiyappanahalli-Channasandra line, Jayachandra said.

He further said that the Cabinet also approved the upgradation of 363 existing traffic signals in Bengaluru and the installation of 100 new Vehicle Actuated Traffic Signals (VATS) under B-Trac at a cost of Rs. 85.34 crore.
