Mysore/Mysuru: Parivartana Ranga Samaja, Kalasuruchi and Arivu Educational and Cultural Trust, under the sponsorship of Karnataka Science and Technology Academy (KSTA) and in association with Kutuhali, Mysuru, have organised ‘KSTA-Kutuhali Mysuru Science Theatre Festival 2023’ at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur Road in city from July 6 to 9.
The Festival will be inaugurated on July 6 at 6.15 pm by Dr. Shivananda Kanavi, Assistant Professor, National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bengaluru and former Vice-President, TCS Technologies.
The following Kannada plays will be staged at 7 pm:
July 6: ‘Prabhasa’ by Abhinaya Bharati, Dharwad.
July 7: ‘Salim Ali’ by Arivu Ranga, Mysuru.
July 8: ‘C Ward – Cancer Kathanagalu’ by Parivartana Ranga Samaja, Mysuru.
July 9: ‘Asmite’ by Workshopin Mysuru for Theatre, Mysuru.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 50 per show.
Workshop
As part of ‘Mysuru Science Theatre Festival 2023,’ a workshop has been organised at Suruchi Rangamane, Chitrabanu Road, Kuvempunagar, on July 9.
10.30 am to 11.15 am: Dr. M.C. Manohara will deliver a talk on ‘Vijnanigala Jeevana Charitre mattu Nataka.’
11.30 am to 12.15 pm: Ajay Swaroop will talk on ‘Natakagalalli Vijnanada Pragati mattu Vayaktika Pratishteya Chitrana.’
12.15 pm to 12.30 pm:Interaction.
