While the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is yet to make an official announcement for this year’s Karnataka Premier League (KPL), city’s NR Group, owners of Mysuru Warriors, conducted the Talent Hunt, grassroot programme for KPL-2019 for which Cycle Pure Agarbathies are Associate Sponsors.
The Talent Hunt was conducted in two stages, in Bengaluru and Mysuru. The Mysuru edition of the Talent Hunt was held at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium (Gangothri Glades) this morning.
Today’s Hunt witnessed a total of 215 budding aspirants showcasing their talent and capabilities. A total of 35 batsmen, 58 all-rounders, 32 spinners, 85 fast bowlers and five wicket-keepers are expected to take part in the selection.
A total of 40-50 players selected from two legs will play trial match at PET Grounds in Mandya on July 23 to stand a chance to play in KPL 2019.
