Mysuru: Yoga Guru Dr. Raghavendra Pai, Secretary of Sri Vedavyasa Yoga Foundation, Mysuru, has entered the India Book of Records for hoisting the Samskruta Flag in Chandrakani Pass, situated at a height of 12,000 feet in Kulu, Himachal Pradesh, and successfully completing the National Himalayan Trekking Expedition.
The event was recently conducted by the Youth Hostel Association of India and Samskruta Bharati, New Delhi and organised by Vasavi Public School, Shivamogga.
Dr.Raghavendra Pai was also greeted by the Vice-President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu.
Dr. Pai has also been nominated by the Ministry of AYUSH as a yoga expert in the Yoga Certification Board for assessing, recognising and affiliating yoga institutes.
